The winning bid is only the beginning.

Auction buyers can underestimate what a vehicle really costs, because the spend is spread across auction and documentation fees, transportation, repairs, taxes and title work, storage exposure, and problems that only surface after the vehicle arrives. Each item looks small on its own. Together they decide whether the purchase made sense.

01

Hidden total cost

A low winning bid can become an expensive vehicle after every additional cost is included.

02

Unclear bidding limit

Without a maximum safe bid, buyers can make emotional decisions while an auction is moving quickly.

03

Repair uncertainty

Small changes in transportation or repair estimates can eliminate the expected margin.
